  • Applying for a building permit
The building permit is an urban planning permit issued by the town hall of the municipality where your project is located. A building permit is required for the construction of a detached house of more than 20m2. Obtaining a building permit for your project is an essential prerequisite for its construction. The use of an architect is mandatory, except in exceptional cases in which you can compile this file yourself (see terms and conditions on the service-public.fr website - section "Housing - Planning permission"). To support you in these administrative procedures, we offer the optional “Building Permit” kit and provide an HMONP architect for all your projects.
